Welcome to Heritage Elementary!

My name is Laura Ryan and I am the principal at Heritage Elementary. It is my sincere honor to serve the students and families within the Ankeny community. Ankeny Community School District is known for academic excellence and leadership. Our teachers and staff have high expectations of our students and work hard to help them achieve their academic and social goals. As a Leader in Me school, we teach our students the 7 Franklin Covey leadership habits and value providing our students with leadership opportunities within their classrooms, our school, and our community. Our mission at Heritage Elementary is to build a community of leaders who connect, learn, and grow.
